A minor bug made it into the firmware of Superglue servers which were distributed during the launch event on the 3rd of October.

While non-critical and non-compromising the bug prevents from configuring outbound Internet connection, thus keeping the device offline. You should be able to use your SG server within your local network or connected to the server via 'Superglue-xxxx' wireless network.

The issue is being addressed right now and a firmware upgrade will be released as quickly as possible.

Hi, I can ssh as root into the ip for the server but cannot access via browser for sg/admin prefs.
If this is an issue related to the firmware bug (I got it from the launch) then thats fine and I will wait for update.

Today the 9th of October the students of the minor Data Design of the wdka.nl will practice with the samizdat approach. The superglue server will run locally and the students will upload files which will be visible and shareable locally.
(All is prepared and running from the USB stick so that with an update of the firmware the files will not be erased.)
Since the subject of this minor is internet censorship, eg China, this reduced setup even makes sense.
Of course we will be eager to show the world but like all the other owners of a superglue server we will wait for the possiblity to connect this server to the internet.
So another bunch of people appreciating the hard work of the superglue team!
