Help! Chrome is adding /defaultsite onto my own 1&1 domain for my hotglue site

I have a hotglue site here: https://counter-re-production.hotglue.me

I have connected it to my domain: http://rjj.website

It all works fine with Firefox and Safari but for the past month or so when I try and open the rjj.website domain from Chrome it adds /defaultsite onto the address and loads a blank page. I don't understand why this is a problem. I have checked other forums and it seems like others are also having this issue with connected workers accounts or google apps etc. none of the information I have found is relevant or useful to my own situation.

Any ideas how to resolve this? I guess the issue is with 1&1 and where the domain is pointing too - something that Chrome is not working with... but I think I need more info into how hotglue hosts my site...

Hi, I just checked http://rjj.website and i didn't notice the /defaultsite being added to the URL.
If it is still happening, in Chrome, could you press Ctrl-Shift-I to open a developer sidebar, click on 'Network' tab, then load http://rjj.website in the same window?
In the sidebar you should see the connections your browser makes during the session, make a screenshot and let us see!

Ok - I did this. Tried uploading the screenshot but can't as the forum has a rule of no picture uploads for 'new users'... sorry.

But basically, the browser seems to add /defaultsite and look for that first - then it goes to a hotglue 404.
