It is possible your Superglue device falls victim to a bug in Control panel or faulty System update.
Don't despair! As long as the system light of the device is blinking it must be possible to fix most of the problems without opening the device.
If your device blinks shortly after it is plugged in and again after a few seconds, your chances to fix it are high!
- Prepare a paperclip or a thin piece of something which you could use to press the Reset button (for TPLink WR710n Reset button is located between USB and Network ports)
- Plug in the device and wait for the second series of blinks
- Right at the moment when second round on blinking begins press the Reset button and hold it for 5 seconds
- Device light will start blinking rapidly
- Connect your device to your computer using an Ethernet cable (use LAN port)
- Assign your computer IP address of 192.168.1.2
-
Open your Terminal application (Linux, OS X) or Command Prompt (Windows) and type:
telnet 192.168.1.1
you should then see:
BusyBox v1.22.1 (2014-08-04 22:39:32 CEST) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
